Today, I gather all those moments,

I sewed them into the threads of love's strand.

With the ink of affection, on a blank paper,

I wrote the unspoken emotions, hidden within.

From where should I write, what should I ponder before I write?

Whom should I praise with what praises?

If I spoke to the moon, I feared the night's darkness.

If I addressed the flowers, I feared the bees' sting.

To the sun, how should I address it? Heat resided within.

To dawn, it was your essence that it held.

If I chose music, it brought forth compassion.

If I chose desire, it brought forth temptation.

With words, it became resolute and firm.

If I chose the river, it brought forth restlessness.

With Radha, the connection wasn't with Shyam.

With Sita, the link wasn't with Ram.

So, I thought, I'll write just one letter.

Today, I'll turn these thoughts into reality.

I'll declare the heart's yearning to you,

I'll write onto a page the feelings within.

From where should I begin? The thought remained the same.

When I met you, this heart's condition was different.

You've become everything to me now, just needed to write that.

You've taken residence in my breaths, just needed to say this.

Words weren't enough to express this, or I was lost in memories of you.

From night till morning, I couldn't write anything but your name.

These heartbeats echoed only with your name,

Otherwise, dreaming had long been forgotten.

A hope, only your love was alive within me.

In these eyes as deep as oceans, I was long submerged.

One way or another, I brought these thoughts to a conclusion.

That paper wasn't paper; it was your name etched in life.

A mistake, unintentionally misjudging your world.
